Ralph Bellflower

Ralph Franklin Bellflower, age 85, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at his home in Lillington.

The oldest of eight children, Ralph was born in Jacksonville, Florida on January 1st, 1941, to Riley and Elizabeth Bellflower.

Ralph is survived by his wife of almost 65 years, Sylvia Wade Bellflower and their two children, Ralph Franklin Bellflower Jr and Donna Bellflower Myatt. Ralph had seven brothers and sisters, Loretta Thompson, John Bellflower (deceased), Robert Bellflower (deceased), Dale Bellflower, Rodney Bellflower, Laverne Beck, and David Bellflower. Ralph was also the proud grandfather of Amber Barile (deceased) and Bonnie Myatt and great grandfather to Branson Myatt.

Ralph left Jacksonville at 17 and hitchhiked to Fort Bragg, North Carolina where he enlisted into the Army with his mother's blessing. Soon after, he met and married the love of his life, Sylvia. Ralph served in Vietnam and after nine years, left the service and built a home for his family. Ralph owned and operated his own business, Cease Fire Extinguisher Sales and Service for almost fifty years which is still family operated. He loved working at his business; he loved carpentry and gardening. Most of all, Ralph loved family. He will be forever in our hearts.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 1-2 p.m. at Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Lillington. The memorial service will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. at the church.
