Bryant D. Hickman

Bryant Douglas Hickman, 91 of Lillington, North Carolina, passed peacefully at his home leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and service, on Monday, December 29, 2025. He was born on October 21, 1934 Cumberland County, North Carolina to the late Troy and Daisy Hickman.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Ann Hickman, they shared 66 years of marriage and family, along with his 3 children, 12 grand and great grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, his brother, his daughter and granddaughter.

Bryant was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Bryant faithfully served his country for over 20 years, a role he carried with honor and quiet strength. His service reflected the values he lived by every day, dedication, loyalty, and perseverance.

Bryant had a gift for making people laugh, often when they needed it most. His quick wit, playful teasing, and warm smile lit up rooms and brought people together. Whether family, friends, or strangers, those who crossed his path felt his kindness and humor. Bryant was loved by many and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on through the stories shared, the laughter echoed, and the love carried forward by his family.

A graveside service with military honors for family and friends will be at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery on January 6, 2026 at 2 pm.
